eDNA Notification supplies output from your eDNA System directly to pagers and email systems. eDNA Notification provides active notification and tracking of specific events, transients and occurrences without direct connection to the eDNA System. eDNA Notification works with email systems, with alphanumeric paging systems, modems, and other serial devices attached to your eDNA System.
eDNA Notification works in conjunction with eDNA Calc. Using eDNA Calc the specific event you wish to monitor is developed as a simple equation. The power of eDNA Calc allows eDNA Notification users to monitor point values, point statuses (quality), and the time/date stamps associated with any point or combination of points included in your eDNA System. Satisfaction of logic developed in eDNA Calc initiates the eDNA Notification message.
Some examples of where eDNA Notification has been used include:
- System Administrators - monitor network traffic for high and critical traffic levels
- Plant Operators - notification of point levels to ensure minimum and maximum levels are not exceeded

eDNA Notification provides messaging and transport of values and statuses embedded within text messages. Instead of receiving an ambiguous page in the middle of the night, eDNA Notification sends an explicit message to help the receiver formulate the type of response that is necessary. eDNA Notification supports single person and group notification events. If desired, eDNA Notification will send additional notifications based upon input provided from a key team member who receives the original notification message.
