InStep Management

In 1995, John B. Kalanik, Jr., James H. Chappell, and Anthony C. Maurer formed InStep Software to address the needs of a niche market in the power industry. The result was a consulting and software products company that helps close the gap between IT departments and engineers at power plants and large facilities. By providing the tools needed to increase plant productivity and efficiency, InStep Software enables real-time data to be accessed, stored, configured, and analyzed for predictive maintenance and forecasting. Today, these partners have expanded InStep offerings to meet the evolving technological challenges of the power generation, telecommunications, and process industries, as well as the U.S. Government.
