The History Service provides a repository for all information selected for historical retention. Any monitored or controlled point (rad levels, parameters, alarms, commands, etc.) maintained in the real time calculation service or the real time eDNA service can be historically tracked. Multiple years of information are maintained by the history service. The storage space needed to store multiple years of historical information is relatively small due to the high efficiency and high compression ratios applied by the history service.
