Enterprise Energy Management Software (EEM)
In order to lower energy costs, operations personnel must have access to energy usage data. Energy users/providers who have integrated an energy management system into their enterprise are able to more efficiently assess usage, analyze demand, prevent downtime, and incorporate load shedding, load scheduling, and generation to keep energy usage in line with the load profile. InStep's EEM software is a complete energy management solution, providing web-based access to energy consumption, billing, and related information. This solution allows easy access to data for real-time and historical reporting and analysis.
- Collect, store, display, and report real-time information from: Utility Meters, Plant Control Systems, Building Control Systems, Weather Information, and Substation Automation
- Data is stored as long-term on-line archive for historical reporting and analysis
- Automated Alarming and Notification of events by email, pager, cellphone
- Web Reporting provides easy access to information from a standard web browser
- EBS - Utility Billing System for detailed cost allocation
Data Collection and Analysis
eDNA, InStep's leading real-time data historian, automatically collects data from electronically enabled utility meters and stores the data in a consolidated on-line database. Information can also be collected from other operational assets - including plant and building control systems - for a complete view of your operation. Display screens and trends can be configured, calculations can be performed, and alarm points can be set for automated reporting and notification of events. eDNA for Energy Management
Utility Billing Solution
Utility consumption monthly totals can be automatically transferred to the eDNA Billing System (EBS), or manually collected data can be imported for detailed utility financial analysis and cost allocation. The software allows for a complex billing structure. All utilities including electricity, gas, water, and steam can be accounted for. Invoices and reports are automatically generated ensuring reliable and accurate cost allocation.
Operations and engineering can easily view and report real-time and historical utility consumption information and correlate this with the operation of the entire enterprise. Virtually an unlimited amount of utility and operational information can be collected and analyzed including information from multiple plants and facilities.
